What are the benefits of donating my vehicle to a Veteran nonprofit?

Do I have any liability issues to worry about and who transfers title?
We will handle all transfer documents according to your local state Department of Vehicle Services guidelines. When your vehicle is picked up by our certified towing professional, you will be given a receipt that releases you from future liability for your donated vehicle.
Will I get a tax receipt and release from liability?
Yes, at pick up our towing specialist will issue a receipt which is a release of liability and confirmation that your vehicle has been picked up. It allows you to take the minimum tax deduction, up to $500 without further paperwork.
In addition, within 30 days of your vehicle sale, you will receive a tax receipt for the full sales value of your donation.
Can I donate my car if I don't have the title?
We can usually pick up a vehicle without a title. We will just need the registered owner to sign some paperwork for us.
